This is a 4-man team event following the Cha-Cha-Cha format. The field is divided into four levels of ability based on handicaps (A, B, C and D) and each team has a player from each level. Each player will play his own ball and scores will be posted toward your handicap.
On the first hole (Cha), the one low ball counts as the team score. On the second hole (Cha Cha), the two low balls combined count as the team score. On the third hole (Cha-Cha-Cha), the three low balls combined count as the team score. The rotation starts over on the fourth hole. |

Format The Modified Stableford system allocates points based on the number of strokes taken on each hole in relation to par, with the goal of achieving the highest overall score. Scoring as follows:
Net Double Eagle +8 Net Eagle +5 Net Birdie +2 Net Par 0 Net Bogey -1 Net Double Bogey or worse -3
Example: a player gets a stroke on a hole and pars it for a net birdie, so he receives 2 points for that hole.
To keep pace of play, if a double bogey or worse is the expected outcome, the player can pick up, record -3 points, and move to the next hole. |

Each two-player team competes to achieve the highest possible point total based on their net scores. The Chicago scoring system assigns a quota of points to each team at the beginning of the round, determined by their combined handicaps. Throughout the game, teams earn or lose points based on their performance on each hole. If a team exceeds their quota, they lose points; if they fall short, they gain points. |

Format Two-man best ball format utilizing 100% of the lower of each player’s GHIN or Tournament Index. For the first 18 holes (Saturday) we will play a standard two man best ball. For the second 18 holes (Sunday), both players’ net scores on the par 5 holes of the front 9 and both players’ net scores on the par 3 holes of the back 9 will be used (making the par for Sunday’s round 88). Other than these four holes on Sunday, we will play a straight two man best ball. The field will be divided into four flights based on team combined index.
Calcutta Purse The purse will be paid-out per flight as follows after a 4% deduction per flight for Friday night expenses:
Horse Race The Horse Race will be contested on Saturday evening upon completion of tournament play for the day. We shoot for a 5:30 PM starting time. The top three teams in each flight are eligible. Should a top three team choose not to participate, we will continue down that flight until we have three teams from each flight. When you check-in for your round on Saturday, please inform the check-in table if you would like to play in the Horse Race. This will allow us to organize the Horse Race field in a timely manner at the end of the day. The entry fee is $50.00 per team and the format is Scotch (absolute alternate shot) utilizing 50% of the team’s course handicap for this tournament. All participating teams will tee off #1 together, with a sudden death elimination of one or more teams per hole. Play will proceed until one team remains and will be declared the winner of the Horse Race. Inasmuch as we will be utilizing 50% of the course handicap of the team, some players might be playing from the white tees. If a participant in the Horse Race played from the white tees for the event, he will play from the white tees for the Horse Race. 1st Place: 50%, 2nd Place: 30%, 3rd Place: 20% of Horse Race purse. If you are playing, please be on the club patio by 5:30 PM. |

Format The Club Championship is a 3-day event that includes a gross flight (aka Championship flight) that any member can declare to play in. All players declaring to play in the gross flight will play without a handicap. A tie-breaker policy will be implemented for this tournament only in the event that a tie-breaker is needed to determine the club or flight champions. The tournament committee has chosen the recommended PGA solution when ties occur, which utilizes a scorecard playoff as follows:

Format Two-man format where both players hit tee shots. For their second shots, Player A hits Player B's ball, and vice versa. Starting with the third shot, the team will select one ball to play and alternate shots until the hole is completed. Note that if Player A's second shot is chosen, Player B starts the alternate shot. |
